  • Hinckley, Allen & Snyder Partner James R. Burke to Serve on the Mass Humanities Board of Directors

  • BOSTON, MA – Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP is pleased to announce that James R. Burke, a partner in the Firm’s Corporate & Business Law Group, has been elected to serve as a Member of the Mass Humanities Board of Directors starting this September.

    Mass Humanities conducts programs and provides grants and services in support of community-based projects that bring the perspectives of history, literature, philosophy and the other humanities disciplines to bear on topics of interest to the residents of Massachusetts.

    Jim is currently a Trustee and Clerk of the Boston Classical Orchestra and sits on the National Advisory Council to The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Historical Society, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Civil War Preservation Trust. Jim is a graduate of Harvard Law School and holds an undergraduate degree in politics from Princeton University.
