Hinckley, Allen & Snyder believes that diversity is important to our success as a law firm as well as our individual and professional growth. A diverse and dynamic work force strengthens our firm by helping us attract individuals with exceptional talents and abilities, resulting in the delivery of the highest-quality services to our clients. Our firm supports the recruitment and advancement of individuals of diverse backgrounds who represent the make-up of the broad communities which we serve and in which we live. We actively promote diversity through both our recruiting activities and our emphasis on acceptance of diversity in the workplace. To further these goals, the firm has an active Diversity Committee. Chaired by a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee, the Diversity Committee is composed of lawyers and non-lawyers who are dedicated to improving the firm's workforce through diversity initiatives.

To support this initiative, the firm participates in the BLG Summer Internship program, offering a summer experience for promising undergraduates from diverse backgrounds interested in exploring the legal field.
Programs for Students
The Firm supports the improvement of diversity in the legal community and beyond. Within our formal Summer Associate Program, the firm actively recruits talented law students of color.
Supplier Diversity Program
Hinckley, Allen & Snyder created a supplier diversity program to encourage the use of minority and women-owned companies as suppliers. We actively seek diverse suppliers and consider whether a company is minority or women-owned when making purchasing decisions. While we are not able to do business with every potential vendor that contacts us, we welcome the opportunity to build strong relationships with high-quality, diverse suppliers. Other factors that are important to us when making purchasing decisions are high-quality products/services, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service.
If your company provides a good or service that Hinckley, Allen & Snyder requires, please complete a Vendor Profile Form. If you are a minority or women-owned business looking to do business with us, completing this form is an important first step in developing a relationship with us.
