Practice Summary
Alexandra brings extensive experience in environmental law, having served as an Assistant Regional Counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency Regional Office in New York City for over seven years. She represents various industrial and manufacturing clients in private and governmental cost recovery actions, and in enforcement matters under the federal and state delegated NPDES programs, the Clean Air Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Alexandra also represents clients and negotiates with states on brownfields issues and voluntary clean ups of sites. She also represents a Fortune 500 company in its environmental due diligence for numerous real estate transactions in eastern and midwestern states. During her tenure at the EPA, Alexandra handled numerous enforcement and permitting matters under the Clean Air Act, and also managed enforcement, permitting and administrative matters under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Toxic Substances Control Act and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act.
