We understand that technology is a tool, and a means to an end. However, we also understand that technology is vital to providing quality legal work at the highest value for our clients. Combining our leading technology investments with highly skilled technology professionals that we have on staff enables us to maximize the benefit that can be achieved through technology. Infrastructure and Connectivity
All of our offices are connected via a high speed network providing voice, data, and video conferencing that enhances our ability to serve clients from any location within our firm. This creates a virtual office whereby attorneys can seamlessly communicate, and collaborate with one another and clients in an ad hoc fashion. The firm has the capability to establish internal and external secure digital links for teleconferencing, desktop collaboration and all forms of messaging with our clients and other law firms.
Our systems are designed, implemented, operated and maintained by a highly-skilled and experienced technology staff that includes software developers, systems engineers, network technicians, user support specialists, practice support specialists and trainers.
We use a firm-wide secure Intranet for much of our internal communication. Whether the communication is a firm-wide announcement or an attorney to attorney exchange, the use of web technology ensures more effective and more secure communication. We continually expand the use of our Intranet to share and update important information and resources. Additionally, we have secure extranet capabilities that enable us to collaborate with clients and others. Our web site has been designed for ease of use and provides the ability to search and locate information about our practices, our attorneys, publications and events with the click of a mouse.

Messaging
The firm maintains an up-to-date messaging platform supporting all forms of e-mail, facsimile, audio, image and document transfer capability. Every lawyer is equipped with a cell phone and wireless messaging device, allowing them to be reached any time of day or evening. Lawyers and staff in both offices make extensive use of these Internet based communication technologies to provide our clients the most responsive and attentive service possible.
Video Conferencing
Hinckley, Allen & Snyder uses state-of-the-art high resolution video conferencing, operated via our high speed network. We make frequent use of this highly effective, yet cost efficient, means of communication between offices, with clients, and with other parties that support video conferencing.
Document Management
We utilize a document management system software that allows for quick indexing, storage and retrieval of documents on our network. We continue to be in the forefront of this technology to include all forms of electronic media that are relevant to legal matters, including voice mail, images, documents, audio, facsimiles, and other forms of communication.
Practice Management
We continue to invest in the critical area of technology commonly referred to as Practice Management. We have worked directly with a variety of vendors to provide custom enhancements to applications that enable all the information regarding a client and/or matter to be available at appropriate levels of detail to appropriate firm members while maintaining proper security to ensure confidentiality.
Specialized Legal Systems
The firm makes use of a variety of specialized applications and systems to provide superior efficiencies. In addition, these systems guarantee that the increasingly vast amount of information is manageable, accessible and secure. These specialized systems give our attorneys an extra edge in providing the highest quality legal work to our clients.
